The rich and varying colours displayed by minerals contained within the sedimentary rock that constitutes sandstone have been subtly highlighted by a grinding and polishing process to the top surface of the paving. The smooth ground surface of each paving offers its own unique texture and colour variance and provides a paving that is equally at home inside and out and in both period and modern settings.

When used internally, the use of a suitable coating or sealer will further enhance the vibrant natural colours.
